Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Managers: Bill Wallbrown
Bill is responsible for the day-to-day operations in both the U.S. and in Brazil. He reports to the Board of Managers.
Bill is part of a family agricultural business operating in North East Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. They operate five grain elevators, two full service agronomy locations, and sell grain handling, storage and drying equipment. They also have a farming operation at the home base in Deerfield, Ohio – growing corn, soybeans and wheat. They farm 3,000 acres. The elevator handled 6.5 million bushels of grain last year. In addition they were partners in a farming operation in Matto Grosso, Brazil, growing soybeans and rice. The recently sold that farm land and are now farming in Roraima. Bill graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Agronomy. Bill is from Deerfield, Ohio.
Chief Operating Officer: Jay Edwards
Born into a farming family in Indiana, Jay Edwards, along with his wife and family, has lived in Brazil, South America since 1987. Edwards began farming in Central Brazil in 1994, and did so through the harvest of 2011. The Central Brazil project in Querencia, MT, grew to 5400 acres of non-GMO soybeans by 2005. Edwards is one of the founding members of Good View and helped buy land for the same in 2004 and 2005. The investors who are farming with Jay sold their holdings in Central Brazil and have repositioned themselves in Roraima. Jay is the COO of Good View and is responsible for the day-to-day operations in Brazil. He reports to CEO Bill Wallbrown.
